This Privacy Policy describes how the ZooGo mobile application (the "App", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data of users ("you", "user").

By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree with any provision, please stop using the App.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

• Send push notifications (vaccination, visit, and medication reminders)
• Improve the quality and stability of the App
• Ensure the security of your account

3. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared with:

• Firebase (Google) — crash reports (Crashlytics), push notifications (FCM)
• Veterinarians — pet data during consultations (at your request)

We do not share data with advertising networks and do not use it for targeted advertising.

4. Data Storage and Security

• All data is transmitted over encrypted channels (HTTPS, TLS 1.2+)
• Local database on device is encrypted (SQLCipher)
• Authentication tokens are stored in Android Keystore (EncryptedSharedPreferences)
• Server data is stored on secure servers
• Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as you use the App. After account deletion, data is removed from servers within 30 calendar days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — view your personal data within the App
• Rectification — edit personal information and pet data
• Export — download pet medical records in PDF format
• Erasure — delete your account and all associated data (Profile → Edit → Delete Account)
• Withdraw consent — disable push notifications in app or device settings

7. Cookies and Analytics

The App does not use cookies. We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports to improve App quality.

8. Children

The App is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you discover that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us to have it removed.

9. AI Assistant

AI assistant recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical diagnosis or prescription. For serious health concerns about your pet, consult a qualified veterinarian. Your AI assistant conversations may be processed on servers to generate responses but are not used to train AI models.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. We will notify you of significant changes via push notification or an in-app screen. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

This Policy is drawn up in accordance with:

• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — for users in the European Union
